General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The management of the Ventnor Holiday Villas and Apartments takes privacy and the protection of
customers (1. letting customers 2. owners) information very seriously. From 25 May 2018 a new
Europe-wide data protection regulation is in place to enhance rights for individuals in relation to
their personal information.

How your information is used:

1. Letting customers

Please note that our customer information is only used in connection with our own marketing. It
may be necessary to provide villa owners/Isle of Wight Council with letting customers details to
abide by holiday home planning permission. It may be necessary to give customer details to the
Ventnor Holiday Villas and apartments site manager or service/maintenance people. If we book
your ferry we will need to give the relevant drivers details and car details to the relevant ferry
company (see the relevant ferry companies own privacy policy).
We send out a limited amount of information updates to our customers, mainly providing the
following years tariff, but if you do not wish to receive please contact us. Alternatively, if you wish
to receive regular updates with any current offers please let us know.

2. Villa/Apartment owners

It will be necessary to give owners details to the Ventnor Holiday Villas and apartments site
manager. It may also be necessary to provide your details to people carrying out a service or
maintenance on your property.
Customers (letting customers/owners) information is not passed on to other individuals or
companies unless we receive permission from yourselves.
Should you wish us to provide you with a copy of the details we hold for you, or you need to replace
